This is my quest. It's my families quest. We striving to be a healthy and happy family. We want to be debt free. We are trying to live the primal life while living in a modern world. It is my quest for knowledge, about history, about computers, and about life in general.
If you enjoy this page or just want to send me a penny, I'll love you all the same! thanks

i also have a lot of model cars for sale, the 1:18 scale diecast cars and motorcycles...just haven't posted them yet.
it is truly amazing when you start looking at the stuff you have collected over the years, like the laptops i had forgotten about, i bought them and fixed them, then just left them around for a long time.
to random stuff for cars i no longer own, roof racks that were used once and now take up lots of space, that being relative...
and this is just the tip. no longer will i hold on to stuff i know i won't use anymore. it will take some time to decide what sales and what just goes to the curb...
btw the curb in granite falls, its a great place to leave things you want grabbed in a few hours by random passer-by's
got another post coming, this is a big rant against the state of america...
if this stuff sales then i'll meet my goal to repair my BMW, once its repaired then i can get on a normal blog schedule and post normal updates

another small update
i'll post some links here if you need something, just leave a comment, I might have something you are looking for.
this is also a great time to just start clearing out the house and all my unnecessary "junk", because i am a little pack rattish, maybe not full on hoarder but i don't want to get to that point as well.
thanks for reading, new updates are coming soon

It will be OK
So got the head off the BMW and the pistons are just a little scarred. So now I start ordering parts for the car to put it back together properly. While I had the car jacked up I also found out my problems with shifting (some missing and some loose bolts) and I think I found out why my cigarette lighter didn't work. All in all a good day. Hopefully by next weekend I will have the ol' car back together and running Mich better than before

Back after night shift...
The BMW may be a lost cause, I've got stuck on one bolt left before i can remove the head to make sure its worth it or not. Its possible that the pistons are damaged and then would require me to pull the motor to replace them, thats more trouble than a $700 car is worth. so either find another e30 guy who needs it as a parts or or part it out and scrap the majority of it. should be able to reclaim my cost.
Getting ready to setup a learning center as such in my house. I have a Cisco Switch, Cisco Router and a HP server that will be used for VMware training. Should be good to go for getting my VCP (VMware Certified Professional) and my CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Admin)
More updates to come soon, will start a fundraiser by selling things that i don't use anymore and there isn't any need to keep in the house. That will either go towards a new car or to fix the BMW back up to GLORY! thanks

The constitution and why the government is out to get you...
I'm also a Primal Eater, and take pride in the fact of understanding how the body works with different types of fuels. Why Carbs are bad and why animal fats are good. Just read Gary Taubes (http://www.garytaubes.com/) as he has done much of the hard work of research, something that most people don't want to do. Or watch Fat Head (www.hulu.com/fathead) its also on netflix. He goes into why the science and pyramid of the government is flat out wrong and will never solve obesity, diabetes, heart disease...the list goes on and on with the modern problems we American's face. I've lost 75 pounds, i've gained muscle, i feel much better than ever before, and i eat almost all meat, as much local meat as i can get. its still a learning experience but one that i'm looking forward to doing for the rest of my life. Plus its always great seeing someones face when they ask me how i lost all this weight and i tell them "by eating lots of animal fat".

just saw this documentary today, now i still think college is very good. i wish i had a BS already. but wow, talk about money...it kinda shadows the pharmacy raising profits and making american's take this pill to help fit this pill to help you with...blah blah blah, they never seem to try elimination diets or just fixing nutrition standards...but this video really makes me sad that i can't think of a good original idea to start a business...maybe someday i'll have some good idea to make people's lives easier and then make mine easier with lots of money.
thanks and see you all tomorrow
Small update before the storm

well well, timing belts and teaching
So i got to walk for a while to the college, talk about missing the car, even no a/c and other issues, it sure is a lot faster to drive. luckly the owner of the shop i parked the car at pulled up and asked if i needed a ride, so i said sure. got to work (i teach at the local community college part time) and was very sweaty and was tired, but class went ok. talked a lot about the internet, had a huge tangent on eating primal, found out one lady could get me some raw milk and butter...so i say its a good night.
well saturday is now packed...get to install a timing belt. any takers?
New content is coming...
also i'm going to chronicle my 1985 BMW 325e "extreme budget resto" on here as well.
thanks and be seeing you soon.
